North American Society for Philosophical Hermeneutics
Jamey Findling posted the following in a recent comments thread. I thought it would be worthwhile to have it on the front page, so I am taking the liberty of posting it here, with some minor editing:
"I thought I would pass along this link. It's the homepage for the (rather awkwardly named) society that Ted and I, along with some others, have been working on. Our first conference is this coming weekend, so it'll be nice to see things come to some measure of fruition. There will also be a satellite session at SPEP this Fall, at the usual Thursday morning time, for those arriving early."

back to the robes -- so joe and tim, you're saying that black is the standard color for VU robes, but we could do something like white piping around the PhD blue velvet strips? what about the tam color? is that university-defined, as well?
Last we talked about this at SPEP it already sounded like everything was on the right track. I certainly hope to make the next meeting (can't make it to this one though) and be a regular member -- and bring some Ricoeur to that hermeneutic circle.
John,
I am not sure what's happening with that either but it sounds like we can only each get the average black robe with the blue stripes. I agree with Jamey about the cap. I like Walter's a lot. Can we at least have a common hat?
