Nova PhDs

I wonder if anyone can help me find a reference. I remember years ago reading (I think somewhere in Gadamer) regarding a marginal comment that Husserl inscribed in his personal copy of Sein und Zeit, the Aristotelian maxim: "Plato is a friend, but truth is a greater friend." Does that sound familiar to anyone else? If so, any help with a citation? I thought it was Gadamer's book _Heidegger's Ways_, but I could find it. Any help would be most welcome.
